Tua Peh Kong is the Hokkien God of Wealth. He is also worshipped as a Taoist deity of wealth. Usually depicted seated on a throne dressed in longevity robes, he holds the symbol of authority - Ru Yi - in his left hand and a gold ingot in his right hand. So, with one hand he confers power and authority and with the other he bestows wealth and success. |
